Colts Then and Now – Mark Mackisoc

“I have so many great memories of season, the Colts had not finished

Mackisoc played defence for the
Colts during his two seasons with
the team. “Adjusting to the speed
and physicality of the game my
first year was hard. In my second
year, I was captain of the team,
and so I had to become a leader
both on and off the ice. There were
many great players on that team,
some with much more skill, but I
still had to lead them. Wearing the
letter taught me to be as prepared
as I could be, not only knowing
my position and role, but to know
every position and each player’s
role on the team as well.
It was during this year of
captaincy that the Colts won
their first league championship
in the CJHL. The team held a
37-12-3 record. Before the 94-95
championship in the 94-95 season
