Major Peewee AA Rapids Undefeated in Rochester

The Major Peewee Seaway Valley
AA Rapids recently returned from a
successful tournament in Rochester
held November 23-25 and returned
with the gold.
The Rapids opened the tournament
on Friday vs. the Rochester
Grizzlies. Despite allowing an
early goal, they stormed back with
eight unanswered to defeat one of
the host teams 8-1. Ben Paul scored
3 times, Jordan Canham and Joseph
Samson each had 2 goals with Eric
Ouellette adding one. Canham
led the way with 3 assists, Brant
Woodside had 2 assists, with 1
assist each going to Sam Fitzgerald
and Ethan Mulhearn.
Their second game was played vs.
the Rideau-St. Lawrence Kings and
after playing to a 2-2 tie after two
periods, the Rapids stormed out in
