        One  of  Thompson’s  favourite  fishing
      memories so far is when she caught her first
      two muskies, 30 minutes apart. “It was the first
      time I went out to catch one. The sunset was
      gorgeous, the water was like glass, and it was
      5:30am. By 7:00am, I had caught my first one

      and then not even 30 minutes later, I caught
      my second. It was insane,” said Thompson.
      “A fish of a thousand casts, and I caught two
      the first time I ever went out for them. It was
      truly an experience. The power in those fish
      is amazing, and they’re so beautiful to catch.”

        Thompson’s favourite place to fish is the St.
      Lawrence River, of course!
        “We have the best fishing around. I mean,
      people come from all over to fish our waters. I
      feel so blessed to have grown up where I did.
      My Tota says that a good fisherman doesn’t
      give  up  his secrets,” said  Thompson.  “You
