South Branch Garage presents
“Game On” in South Glengarry
Meet our Athletes
Elliot Lefebvre
Age: 9
School: Williamstown Public School
Hometown: Williamstown
Grade: 4
October’s Game On athlete is Williamstown’s own Elliot
Lefebvre. “I have been playing hockey and baseball since I
was 4 years old,” he says. “I play hockey for the Char Lan
U11 Rep Team and baseball for the Cornwall River Rats
10U.”
Elliot is a hockey netminder, and his favourite baseball position is pitcher. “My favourite part about
both hockey and baseball is playing with my friends and getting to be part of great teams,” Elliot
explains. “My goal is to keep working hard to be the best I can. I love to go to ARG goalie clinics and
the Strike out Squad camps to help me work on improving my game.”
Elliot’s grandparents make an outdoor rink, and he loves to play with his brother, cousins, and friends.
“It also lets me have a lot of extra time to practice,” he says. “I think that sports are a great way to
make friends. I like that I get to travel to a lot of places with my teams. This summer I got to go to
Hamilton with my baseball team, and we won the Cactus Cup B division gold medal. It was really
fun.”
Elliot, who wants to be an aircraft engineer and a pilot, feels his most notable accomplishment is
winning the Char Lan league U9 Dorothy Cumming Memorial Award for Outstanding Leadership,
Sportsmanship, and Ability in 2023.
