        Need a dessert for that Christmas party or dinner?  Try this simple and easy recipe to make.
        Top it off with a little whipped cream and you’re all set. Hope you try it.

        Pumpkin pie:                        1/2 tsp ginger                       2 cups pumpkin puree
        3/4 cup white sugar                 1/4 tsp cloves                       1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
        1 tsp cinnamon                      1/4 tsp allspice                     1 prepared pie crust
        1/2 tsp salt                        2 large eggs                         Whipping cream
        Directions:
        1. Preheat oven to 425˚
        2. In a medium bowl mix together the sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger, cloves, and allspice
        3. Whisk in the 2 large eggs
        4. Add the pumpkin puree and evaporated milk, whisk to combine together
        5. Pour into prepared pie crust
        6. Bake for 15 minutes then turn down the oven to 350˚ for 45 minutes longer or until toothpick comes out clean
        7. Let cool before adding any whipped cream.
