                                      October’s Game On in South Glengarry athlete
                                      is Rosalie  Van der Burg, a young lady who
                                      participates in multiple sports and has a great time                               
                                      while playing.
                                                                                                                           	     
                                      “I  just  finished  playing  soccer  this  summer,”

                                      Rosalie says. “This was my 4th year playing, and                                                                 

                                      I normally play forward.  I loved the baseball                                               
          
    ­
                                      program ‘Jays Care’ at school last year. I’m
         starting my 3rd year of playing hockey with the Char-Lan Rebels, and I’m a forward
         and very excited for this year.”
 Photo Submitted  explains, “I’ve won Most Sportsmanlike, and for two years in a row for soccer I
         Rosalie has several impressive accomplishments to her credit. “In hockey,” she

         won Most Improved Player. I also won U8 soccer’s Most Outstanding Girl in the
         League this summer, which I am very proud of.”
         Rosalie’s favourite all-time sport is hockey, but she loves playing all sports with
         her friends and football with her dad. “I’m looking forward to highland dancing as
         well this year,” she says.
