playing soccer at 6 years old with Glen Walter
Minor Soccer,” says Mason Lucas, who is
turning 12 in March.
“I am now playing with the Seaway Valley
Soccer Club’s U12 Blazers Premier Boys
team, where I am an attacking midfielder, but I play whatever position my
coaches put me in to help the team,” Mason continues. “I love the beautiful
game of soccer, the challenge of new competition, meeting new people when
we travel, and playing with my teammates. I would love to represent Canada
one day playing soccer, being a pro soccer player.”
Mason is looking forward to graduating from Williamstown Public school
and heading into middle school next year. “My most notable accomplishment
to date,” he says, “is to make the Blazers Premier team. Soccer is important
to Canadian communities because it connects kids.”
