         Tagwi Secondary School Celebrates Top Athletes

         Wtook  home  the  awards  for
        Senior Athlete of the Year at the Tagwi
        Secondary School’s athletic banquet.
           As female Senior Athlete of the Year,
        Elliott also took home the MVP award
        for the second time in volleyball.

           Basketball, volleyball, and soccer are
        the sports she has focused on in school,
        while being captain of the basketball and
        volleyball teams for the past couple of
        years.

           “It  was  nice  that  it  was  presented
        by  my  basketball  coach  too,  who  has
        always coached me,” said Elliott about
        receiving the Senior Athlete of the Year
        award.  “She wrote my letter of reference
        to university.”
           This  18-year-old  athlete  is  headed
        to  Bishop’s  University  in  the  fall  for
