Girls’ Softball League tips its cap to long time
pal players Abi and Hannah, the Alguire sisters.
Abigail is 14, been playing ball since the age of 8. She also plays for the U16 Cornwall Cyclones
as a catcher and 3rd baseman. In the off-season, she dances competitively. Abigail is an honour
roll student. She also enjoys math and is strong in both French and English. She likes ball
because it’s fun, and she loves the friendships that develop, especially when she plays on a
travelling team and gets to stay in hotels with her team.
Hannah is 12 and has been playing since she turned 6. She’s trying her hand at pitching. REGISTER YOUR TEAM NOW
In the off-season, she plays hockey for the Cornwall Typhoons. Hannah is an avid reader who
