          K  F  A  E  I  I  E  E  I  C  D  M  P  F  C  I  L  U  D  R                                                   is  flawed.    Why  do  we  leave
                                                                                                                      induction up to glorified fans of the
          P  A  H  E  M  S  P  B  N  A  Q  Y  I  P  L  T  X  R  A  A
                                                                                                                    game?  Some members of the BWAA
          I  O  P  L  M  S  P  I  N  W A  T  E  R  I  C  F  T  Y  F                                             have never even played the game beyond
          T  O  E  S  I  Y  I  H  U  Y  P  P  A  H  M  E  N  S  Q  F                  Pe e we e           (excuse me U13 – but that’s a conversation for
                                                                                      another article!) House League.  And these are the people who
          E  L  L  C  N  E  L  G  R  C  K  O  O  L  B  R  H  E  N  E
                                                                                      get to decide immortal enshrinement?!?!  My modest adjustment
          O  G  E  L  G  K  F  F  A  S  T  U  P  J  I  I  N  E  Q  S                  to the selection process would include living, inducted members
          A  I  X  A  S  N  N  E  R  D  L  I  H  C  N  D  I  R  O  Q                  receiving a vote.  Those votes should be tallied and count for 50%
                                                                                      of the result, with the other 50% of the vote being made by the
          S  K  T  P  T  O  A  E  C  A  L  P  N  D  G  A  J  T  U  O
                                                                                      BWAA.  Who knows better than a baseball Hall of Famer about
          I  I  H  P  O  M  I  L  S  N  I  U  G  N  E  P  K  V  J  B                  who belongs beside them in the Hall of Fame?  This change is long

          A  W  G  I  P  E  V  A  C  G N  I  K  N  I  R  D  N  D  V                   overdue and should be considered.  There’s already a Veterans’
                                                                                      Committee who can nominate former players - this would simply
          N  J  I  N  S  O  S  S  A  R  G  S  E  P  I  R  T  S  S  L                  be an extension of that.
