DISTRICT 8 INVOLVEMENT – Throughout her life, Angèle
has enjoyed playing and competing in many sports. These Gord Shaver Mike Piquette
include volleyball, basketball, badminton, baseball, and downhill
skiing. Five years ago, Angèle became a District 8 member when
she competed in our cribbage competition. She has continued playing cribbage and has added carpet bowling to her
competitions. Angèle was also the Convenor for the OSGA 55+ District 8 Golf Tournament held at Upper Canada Golf
Course, Morrisburg, for one year. She said it has always been fun meeting active seniors. She encourages all people
55+ to join OSGA District 8 after COVID-19 rules allow us to assemble.
