Iparticipate in a farmers’ market for the
2021 season. Several farmers’ markets in
the eastern Ontario region are now inviting
farmers and food artisans to join their
markets for the 2021 season, which typically
runs from May to October.
It is exciting to see the current and new
farmers’ markets in Cornwall and the
surrounding region. The most recent news
is the Cornwall Waterfront Farmers’ Market
coming to the Lamoureux Park on Sundays
for the June to October season of 2021. The
Seaway Valley Growers have operated a
farmers’ market on Saturdays in the parking
lot of the Brick on Pitt Street for many years.
The Cornwall Kinsmen Farmers’ Market
had a great year on Sundays in 2019, in the
parking lot of St-Lawrence College. They
did not operate a physical market in 2020
and will not again in 2021, but they still offer
an online connection with local farmers.
There are also several market opportunities
in the Counties of SDG. The Maxville
