Rosemary (Phillips) Thompson is one of Cornwall’s
greatest golfers. She was a Junior Champion in
Ambrose Frederick Knight was known as 1956, and in 1957 was runner-up in the Quebec

“Rarie.” An outstanding golfer, he represented Junior Girls Championship. She won the 1959
ladies’ A-Class Championship. Thompson played
the CGCC in 1930-1931, 1932, and 1933, winning
as member of the Quebec Junior Golf Team in
the Ottawa City and District Championship.
Vancouver and Winnipeg. She won the 1962 ladies’
Knight was Cornwall Golf and Country Club A-Class Championship in Cornwall. In Calgary,
champion for three years: 1932, 1933, and 1934. she was a member of the New Mexico University
