Vera and her husband, Mike live in Iroquois. She worked in
LOEB and METRO stores for 40 years finishing her career
as a Store Manager.
Interests
Vera keeps herself busy with quilting, reading, travel, and
golf. She and Mike enjoy all the amenities Iroquois has
to offer including walking around town, curling, skating,
snowshoeing, and going to the beach. Vera is the OSGA
District 8 Women’s 55+ Bronze medal Golf winner this year.
Life during COVID
Vera credits her husband, family, and friends for being the
best support for her during COVID. She continued to stay busy with her quilting, reading,
walking, playing golf, and she enjoyed Facetime conversations with her daughter and friends.
