Rotary Club of Cornwall Sunrise - Paul Harris evening

n Thursday, April 14,
O2022, the Rotary Club of
Cornwall Sunrise held their Paul
Harris Dinner and Recognition
ceremony. This year was the first
time in over two years that this
event was held as an in-person
celebration. Several people
from Cornwall and area were
recognized for their contributions
and support of the community and
the Rotary Club’s activities that
are both local and international.
A Paul Harris Fellowship is a
way for Rotarians and Rotary
Clubs to honour the contributions
the honorees have made to
Rotary and to their community -

Carol and her husband, Greg, live on a 7-acre paradise in Apple Hill.
They have four children and five grandsons.

Career and Interests

Carol is a retired Senior Group Benefits Underwriter. She enjoys
all seasonal sports and gardening. Carol participated in the Ontario
Senior Games Golf Tournament at Upper Canada Golf Course in
2021.
During Pandemic
Carol was physically separated from her grandsons for over a year,
so she busied herself with Nanny Virtual Daycare. She would read
books, sing songs, play games or just be silly using the Internet to
stay connected with her grandsons. Keeping physically active kept her sane, too.
