Jake Lapierre - Conditioning Coach -The Toronto Blue Jays have seen pretty good success on the ball field so far this year. They are
currently tied for second place in the AL East with the New York Yankees and they’ve maintained a 6.25-win percentage to date. Players

Blue Jays are on the path to providing fans with great entertaining baseball that’ll carry well into this year’s season. Go, Blue Jays!

Peter Collins - Sports Enthusiast - This year is different for Blue Jay fans because, for the first time in years, the Blue Jays are a

On many levels, the Blue Jays boast one of the strongest lineups in major league baseball. Starting pitching is deep with Gausman and
Berrios leading the way. Twenty-four-year-old Alex Manoah, their fourth starter, may be their ace by the end of the season. The relievers,

led by Canadian Jordan Romano, look strong and more than able to complete what the Blue Jay starters cannot finish. The starting lineup is young and

talented and the envy of their rivals. Guerrero, Bichette, Hernandez, and Chapman make up a core of super talented power hitters that should enable
them to lead the American League in home runs and runs scored. The Jays have improved their team defense over last year, so they should hold their

leadership that they were lacking.

No team is without weakness and the Jays might be a bit thin at catcher and DH, so they could make a few moves there before the trade deadline to
strengthen those areas. Lastly, while Manager Charlie Montoyo has done a tremendous job molding this team, can he take them from pretenders to

Jim Riddell - Seaway Karate Club - The Toronto Blue Jays have faced their share of challenges since the COVID pandemic began in
early 2020. Government restrictions kept the Blue Jays out of Canada and without a true home park for most of the past two seasons.

They played the shortened 2020 season out of Buffalo and then split the first part of the 2021 season between Dunedin, Florida and
Buffalo, NY before returning home to Toronto to finish the season at the Rogers Center. The Blue Jays suffered several injuries in the
early part of last season, but still managed to finish strong, winning 91 games and just missing the post season by a single game. Today,
they have a strong lineup with a young core that is now more experienced, along with one of the best pitching rotations in the major
leagues. The Toronto Blue Jays are at the very least, poised to make a deep run into the playoffs this season.
