Liam MacLachlan
Grade: 10
School: Char-Lan DHS
2023’s first Game On athlete is Liam
MacLachlan. Born and raised in South
Glengarry, this farm kid works, learns,
and plays in the Char-Lan district. “My
favourite sport is hockey and in the
summer, I like to play soccer,” Liam
states.
Currently, Liam plays defence with the U18 B Rep Char-Lan Rebels.
He also suits up to play with the CLDHS varsity hockey team. During
the summer months, Liam plays for the Glengarry Hearts and with
the Char-Lan squad in the Glengarry Soccer League. He also plays
high school basketball. “I’ve never played baseball though. That’s a
sport I’d like to try at some point,” he adds.
“What I like about playing sports is being on a team with my friends
and of course, winning,” Liam explains. “The hardest part about
