Tales from The Trails
By Casey Leger
ales from the Trails is back this February with
TClinton Baker. Clinton is a technician with
Ontario East Powersports, so it’s a safe bet that this
rider knows his stuff.
Clinton’s machine is a 2022 Can-Am Defender
1000 XT with a three-inch lift snorkel kit and
Cryptid tires. At thirty-six years young, Clinton
enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding, hobbies he
shares with his wife and four amazing daughters.
“The Defender suits all my needs,” Clinton
explains. “It’s easy to drive and powerful. With the
dump box, it gets the job done when I need it to.”
When he’s not on the trails he and his family have
blazed, Clinton’s Defender makes easy work of
hauling wood and collecting maple syrup.
So far, Clinton has put about a thousand
kilometers on the vehicle, and he says he has not
experienced a single issue. “It’s been an easy Photos Submitted
thousand kilometers,” he laughs.
