Eli Seguin
Age: 15 yrs.
School: Holy Trinity CSS
The Game On athlete for March 2023 is Eli
Seguin. He says that looking back, he can’t
remember a time when he wasn’t into sports.
“Growing up with two older brothers, it was
constant soccer in the yard, mini sticks in the
house, and hockey in the cornfields when
they froze over. There are still tape marks on
the floor in the living room - we were always making creases and blue lines
with masking tape,” he says.
Eli plays different sports at the high school level, including volleyball and
badminton, but his sports of choice are soccer and hockey. He’s played both
at the competitive level since he was of age to play. “For soccer, I’ve been
lucky enough to play with the group a year older than me for a few years,
here and in Brockville. This year, I will play with the Glengarry Hearts with
a bunch of friends. For hockey, I’ve played AA since novice, but this year, I
decided to go back to Char-Lan and play Rep with the Glengarry boys,” he
