with Randy Yue -A Lifelong Passion for Fishing, Nature, and Community

n the town of Cornwall, Ontario,
IRandy Yue, a local fisherman, has
spent the better part of his life pursuing
the art of angling. His journey into fishing
began at a young age, driven by a deep
appreciation for the peaceful atmosphere
and the opportunity to immerse himself
in the sights Mother Nature has to offer.
“My earliest fishing memory is when,
around the age of ten, I went to the
Long Sault Crossway fishing with my
dad,” said Yue. “I would be the little one
throwing rocks in the water until my dad
had a smallmouth bass on the line and he
handed me his rod. That’s the moment I
was hooked.”
Among his treasured memories,
Yue highlights his first tournament on

about competition but also about raising
