Western Dinner at Seaway
Senior Citizen Club

n November, Seaway Senior Citizens Club members enjoyed a western-themed
Idinner followed by dancing to country music performed by their in-house guitar
group “The Jammers.” About forty people participated in the western dinner. The
menu featured all-western typical favorites such as fried chicken, baked beans, corn,
macaroni salad, and a selection of desserts. All prepared on site by the best cook in
town, Darlene, and her crew.
The first annual Christmas Art and Craft Sale took place on November 18. The
fair included arts and crafts, music, penny auction, food, and drinks. It featured over
twenty different vendors who showed beautifully handmade articles. Just in time to
assist the members in their Christmas shopping while offering originals gift ideas.
A beautiful quilt made by Julie Madden and Ricky Lauzon was drawn and the lucky
winner of the quilt raffle was Matt Drouin. The fair was a real success, and we look
forward to hosting it again next year.
December brings the second of two custom card making sessions, a trip to the
Thousand Islands Playhouse by carpool, and to end off the year, our annual club
