CANADA-ONTARIO HOUSING BENEFIT
Applications Are Now Open:
The Canada-Ontario Housing Benefit is a portable, income-tested housing benefit paid directly to eligible
renters. With limited funding available, this first-come, first-served program is now accepting
applications.
Who is it for?
Households in core housing need (low income, paying high rent, or living in unsuitable housing)
What you need to apply:
✔ID and SIN for all household members
✔Last 2 months of bank statements and income proof (e.g. paystubs)
✔2024 Notice of Assessment
✔Rental agreement
✔Void cheque or direct deposit form
Apply online or in person at 340 Pitt Street, 4th Floor

unlimited lifetime transit service to veterans. As well, the City offers free
parking to veterans with special license plates from MTO.
