League spotlight is on Paige Besner. Paige
WE LOVE FOOTBALL is veteran player with four years of softball
under her belt. Her favourite position is
catcher, and she likes the different skill
levels required to play ball, making new
friends on the diamond, and making great
memories.
When she’s not playing softball, Paige
is lifting weights as a member of the Cornwall Weightlifting Club or
playing volleyball at the city and high school levels. “I would like to get
a job teaching young children or teaching children with special needs,”
Paige answers when asked about her aspirations.
