Rookie of the Month
William Lapierre
Age: 4 Grade: Kindergarten
School: École Élémentaire Marie-
Tanguay
Home Town: Cornwall
February’s Rookie of the Month, William
Lapierre, is on the ice at the Benson
Center twice a week with the Cornwall
Minor Hockey Association. According
to his dad, when William began playing
hockey, he could barely stand up on his
skates. Now, he has no problem dashing
from red line to red line, and he continues
to work hard in each session. His coaches
are impressed with his constant smile and
the effort he puts into each drill.
Keep up the good work, Will!
