annual Brampton Cup amateur
boxing tournament. The
Brampton Cup attracts boxers
from across Canada and
the USA. This year was no
exception as a record 525 boxers
were in attendance - from 10 to
40+ yr. old boxers and a record
number of females. It was great
to see and kudos to Boxing
Ontario administration and
officials for putting the event
together. This is exactly what
we need to promote the sport of
amateur boxing in Canada and
