Kobe Tallman: From the Cornwall Colts to the OHL

obe Tallman, 18, played for two
Kseasons with the Cornwall Colts
before making it onto the Oshawa
Generals team in the Ontario Hockey
League (OHL) this year.
The Oshawa Generals had a
week-long camp in mid-August and
Tallman was drafted to the team as a
forward player. He has since moved
to Oshawa, where the team trains
on the ice and in the gym from 8:30
a.m. to 4 p.m. every weekday. The
Oshawa Generals start their season
on October 8th.
Tallman said he learned some
important lessons with the Colts and
throughout his hockey journey that
have helped him get to where he is
today.
“You got to be ready, you got to
be focused. Practices and listening to
your coach really set you up for how
you’re going to play at games,” said
Tallman. “Being 100 per cent focused

coach gets you into that mindset of
being a professional. It will help you
