and you’ll have yeast that will
build bread so fluffy it will curl
your toes!
Fester this and you’ll have
beer! Put the spent grains of
that beer production back into
the bread and you’ll have added
protein, fiber, and flavour!
You can also fester those
potatoes and that rye and wheat
and barley, while you’re at it. Not
to mention grapes, apples, and
plums! That will cheer you up to
no end!
What’s the problem?
Hunting is unpredictable?
Farmers: Hang on. I figure we
can feed and breed these things
if we put our heads together and
bang up a few fences.
Farmers have built the very
foundation upon which our towns
and cities and civilizations have
been built.
You don’t do all that if you’re
not nimble.
Throughout history, farmers
have responded spectacularly to
every problem laid at their feet.
Food decay?
Refrigeration. And drying,
