ORack-em-Up Billiards had
its eighth summer series nine-
ball tournament. A small field of
11 players took part as many had
already qualified for the final set
for September 7th.
With six different winners in
the previous seven tournaments
and four of those six competing
elsewhere this weekend, it looked
like a new winner could be crowned.
Previous winners, Jeff Flemming
and Jacques Sauve were both on
hand trying to repeat. Sauve with
his luck would get a bye in the first
round, and then earn wins over Gus as Pawis ran the fi nal six balls off
Jacobs and Eric Mallet to reach the the table and take the win from the
“A” side final.
Flemming, also with a bye in the
first round would defeat Louanne has twenty players qualifi ed with
Leger and Kirk Pawis to also make over $1,500 in guaranteed prize
it to the “A” side final.
Sauve would earn his spot in the
final after sending Flemming to
the “B” side. Local lady shooters
