MURPHY’S SPORTS LAW By David Murphy
The NHL playoffs have helped to build some strange pitching. It’s no different when Bill Belichick continues to run scores
allegiances through social media (specifically up, with his starters still playing in New England blowout victories in the
Facebook). It’s been strange seeing posts from NFL. If you don’t like it, outscore them!

The memes involving PK Subban and Max Patio Ready have brought
laughter from hockey fans of all stripes.
It’s good to see that the NHL is living up to its desired purpose – to
entertain.
Speaking of entertaining…Marcus Stroman is helping keep fans
interested in baseball while the Blue Jays are off to their worst start in a
decade. Some are complaining at Stroman’s excitement when he pitches.
He fist pumps strikeouts and nice plays that get the third out of an inning.
In a season in which the Blue Jays are fumbling, Stroman gives them a
chance to win every game. He even registered two complete games in
April (almost unheard of in today’s MLB thanks to specialty pitching and
managing). This is a message the rest of the MLB; you want Stroman
to stop fist pumping and getting excited? Get some hits and score some Dan, Heather Hopkins (St. Joe’s Alumni out of Cabbagetown Boxing in
runs! If you don’t like his showmanship, beat the Blue Jays when he’s Toronto), Jorge Luis and David Murphy @ Champs. Submitted Photo
