Spotlight on Golf: Bill Knight at the Cornwall Golf

Allison, Lesley, and Andrew each went through the
junior program at the Club. Although they don’t
play much today, they have a good grounding.

What’s it like to see four of your top players graduate in one
year?
It’s always great to watch a graduating class finally achieve
what they’ve worked so hard to accomplish. This year, I’m especially proud. The Panthers
might be losing four veteran players in Abby Leger, Sarah Conroy Annabelle McIntosh,
and Marissa Belmonte, but each of these girls is moving on to the next step in their lives.
Three of these young ladies are going to university. One is enlisting in the Canadian
Forces. Annabelle will be playing rugby for Bishop’s. I’d like to think that playing rugby
has had something to do with that. Photo Credit: Phototoart.ca
