                                                                                                                          now.  While it’s a great feel-good
          S  X  P  N  A  E  B  S  P  I  L  A  A  J  M  P  A                                                               story for the NHL and it’s left

          B  T  O  A  A  V  T  R  K  U  R  V  S  Q  R  E  L                                                              Ayres with the story of a lifetime,
                                                                                                                         that game could’ve just as easily
          K  S  R  D  R  A  O  P  O  D  Y  C  H  E  E  K  U                                                             gone off the rails and we’d be having
                                                                                                                      a much different conversation today.

                                                                                      means millions in revenue for the home team.  That game could’ve cost

          L  N  C  G  S  X  S  T  S  B  E  N  C  A  S  A  R                             Don’t get me wrong - I’m happy for Ayres and wouldn’t mind meeting
                                                                                      him someday to hear the story first-hand.  But you wouldn’t see a fan
          P  B  E  A  U  T  Y  S  P  O  T  K  U  U  C  F  T                           coming out of the stands to catch in an MLB game.  You wouldn’t see
                                                                                      a diehard line up at centre to take a snap in the NFL.  You wouldn’t see
          M  M  A  M  Y  S  Z  F  W  G  L  Q  S  O  L  E  Q                           a fan toe the line for a couple of potential game-winning free throws in

          I  W  D  L  E  G  R  E  Y  E  S  V  D  N  R  A  R                           the NBA.
                                                                                        The NHL must have a contingency plan to have a minor hockey
          D  H  E  Y  G  L  C  T  S  H  W  G  N  O  L  A  R                           league, college, or junior goalie on stand-by should both regular goalies
                                                                                      on a team get injured during a game.  It is a rarity - but it has happened
          Z  S  E  R  U  T  A  E  F  O  G  L  E  N  G  T  H                           where an emergency call-up back-up goalie has suited up for an NHL
                                                                                      team about a dozen times since 2005.  Some have been goaltending
                                                                                      coaches who were former NHL or pro players, while others had at least

                                                                                        At the end of the day, even winning a Stanley Cup won’t diminish
