Sports Mom” Crystal White
FPO Crystal White loves to watch her children in action on the
local competitive dance scene.
Crystal is the Human Resource Manager at the Health Unit in
Cornwall. She grew up in the city and eventually settled here
with her husband, Brad and their two daughters. Addison
(10) and Avery (8) are in Grades 4 and 2 respectively, and
they attend their mother’s alma mater - St. Anne Catholic
School.
Crystal’s daughters are highly involved members of the
Powell School of Dance where this dynamic dancing duo
keeps their enthusiastic mama busy with their hectic schedule
of lessons, recitals, and competitions.
Addison is an accomplished member of the Powell dance
troupe where she is learning several genres of dance such as tap, jazz, and contemporary.
Her favorite style is jazz, and she shines as a skilled performer with excellent technique.
Addison has been honored with several accolades, including a trip to Disneyland.
Avery has followed in the footsteps of her big sis and studies tap, jazz, and contemporary.
She’s got lots of personality on stage and, like her sister, has won several awards. Avery
shows lots of potential as she develops her own style and technique.
The graceful glides and radiant rhythm of Addison and Avery come directly from mom,
Crystal. Growing up, Crystal was passionate about dance and studied and preformed jazz,
tap, and baton. Crystal is so pleased her girls are carrying on the tradition.
Crystal loves that her daughters are so involved in competitive sports and she is quick to
compliment local organizations. The girls get to play in well-run, organized classes and they
are exposed to excellent coaching and great families.
Crystal adds that dance provides a vehicle by which her daughters can meet new friends,
become disciplined, get physical exercise, and learn about teamwork.
In Crystal’s household, dance is a family affair. Along with Crystal, dad Brad and superfan
grandma Joan rarely miss a chance to attend recitals to cheer on their favorite gals.
