the water and continue with their august crossword solutions
        training.
The Aquatic Center, where the Sea
Lions typically train, has opened up
        lane swimming, available from 7
        a.m. -9 a.m. Individual swimmers
        can book 45-minute swim sessions
up to two times per week.

           “The 45-minute training sessions,
twice a week, are actually perfect
for our swimmers right now,” said
        Sheilagh McNeil, head coach of
the Sea Lions. “During these times,
they can get a feel for the water,
        start building their swim fitness
back up, and simply have some fun
        in the water without over-training
        in the off-season.”

The Sea Lions are not yet able to
train as a team because the pool is
not renting lanes to groups yet and
the Sea Lions need to complete the
        return-to-swim protocols for Swim
        Ontario.
“There are still many questions as
to what the season will look like next
year. As of right now, our provincial
organization is approving a plan to
have four swimmers in a double
lane. This would be a maximum
of 12 swimmers in the pool at one
        time, which is significantly less
than our normal full pool of about
        30 swimmers,” said McNeil.

           Competitions will also change
        this season. Swim competitions
        usually bring together hundreds
of people. For now, the plan is for
teams to host swim meets with only
        their own swimmers and submit
                                                                                                                            Crossword on page 17

           “COVID-19 has brought our
        team major challenges and changes,
but our swimmers are resilient, and
we are happy to get creative to keep
        them moving forward together,”
said McNeil. “If we can take
