his fifties and enjoys the Glendalers’
Winter Sports Club trails on his 2014
Can-Am Outlander 1000 XT 2 up. He
also uses his ATV for transportation
when he’s out during hunting season.
“I’ve owned an ATV for many
years,” says Locey. “I chose the Can-
Am because it’s very reliable and
handles very well.”
Locey appreciates the time and
effort the Glendalers put into grooming
and maintaining a local trail system for
riders to enjoy. “We are very lucky to
have the Glendalers’ Winter Sports
Club to maintain our trails for us to
enjoy. Many areas don’t have a trail
system to use,” he says.
Locey figures he’s got about 3000
kilometres on his machine. “I enjoy
going out on Sunday mornings
with some friends as we leave from Photo Submitted
Cornwall and take trails to Maggie’s
in Alexandria for Sunday brunch and
then ride back,” he says of the times he
rides recreationally.
