bench boss during the club’s first couple of seasons in the league (but he did help

Evans was Payette’s assistant before taking over the reins and guiding the Colts to BMSc(Hons), DipAC, DC

their first title. Loney and Wagar were Evans’ assistant coaches. Loney then took Chiropractor/Acpuncture
over and kept Wagar as an assistant. When Loney moved on to the OHL (Brampton),
Wagar worked his way behind the bench as well as being team owner.
Fast forward several years and Wagar still owns and coaches the Colts when
MacInnis is brought into the fold. MacInnis has been the coach and owner for the
better part of a decade now and his club continues to be one of the models other
teams aspire to.
I believe any hockey team in any league anywhere would be hard pressed to
say there’s a direct link to all their championships that are spread over two plus Dr. Joel Leger

MacInnis and the Colts are gearing up to win their second Fred Page Cup Eastern
Canadian Championship and earn their way to the RBC Championship next
spring.
